Position Scope:

The primary responsibility is to ensure the efficient and timely movement and clearance of freight while delivering outstanding customer service within the Customs Brokerage division.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Facilitate a smooth and timely shipment process.
  • Perform accurate and timely data entry into our operational systems according to established metrics.
  • Monitor and trace shipments effectively.
  • Maintain proactive and clear communication with both internal and external clients.
  • Ensure precise and timely client billing, including resolving disputes.
  • Comprehend customer expectations to meet all elements of the Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) and Key Performance Indicators (KPI).
  • Adhere to company policies and external regulations.
  • Complete cross-training to support team coverage.
  • Represent Expeditors professionally to customers, service providers, and government agencies.

  • Achieve a standard of 52 hours of training annually, including all mandatory training sessions.

Qualifications:
  • Possess knowledge and/or prior experience relevant to industry-specific qualifications.
  • Demonstrate effective interpersonal skills, including the ability to listen, comprehend, and communicate clearly and concisely to achieve positive outcomes.
  • Exhibit proactive and strong organizational skills.
  • Possess good computer skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
