Key Responsibilities: As an MRI Technologist, your duties will include:
- Executing MRI procedures utilizing advanced imaging equipment and your knowledge of anatomy and patient positioning to achieve optimal results.
- Communicating procedures to patients, addressing any inquiries or concerns they may have.
- Administering MRI examinations following established contrast media protocols.
- Ensuring accurate anatomical orientation on images and proper film identification.
- Assessing the quality of MRI scans and determining if further imaging is necessary before relaying results to the radiologist.
- Participating in on-call responsibilities as required.
Qualifications:
- A minimum of two years of experience in Radiologic Technology or one year as an MRI technologist.
- ARRT certification and Basic Life Support certification.
- Preferred: Two years of experience as an MRI technologist in a clinical setting and graduation from an accredited Radiologic Technology or MRI program.
