Key Responsibilities: As an MRI Technologist, your duties will include:

  • Executing MRI procedures utilizing advanced imaging equipment and your knowledge of anatomy and patient positioning to achieve optimal results.
  • Communicating procedures to patients, addressing any inquiries or concerns they may have.
  • Administering MRI examinations following established contrast media protocols.
  • Ensuring accurate anatomical orientation on images and proper film identification.
  • Assessing the quality of MRI scans and determining if further imaging is necessary before relaying results to the radiologist.
  • Participating in on-call responsibilities as required.

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of two years of experience in Radiologic Technology or one year as an MRI technologist.
  • ARRT certification and Basic Life Support certification.
  • Preferred: Two years of experience as an MRI technologist in a clinical setting and graduation from an accredited Radiologic Technology or MRI program.
