About the Role

Citadel CPM is seeking an experienced Executive Interior Designer and Project Manager to lead all design phases for interior projects. This role requires establishing a vision for every project, leading a team, and interacting with various stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities
  • Plan and coordinate meetings with facilities staff to ensure smooth project execution.
  • Translate stakeholder visions into actionable project plans.
  • Analyze space requirements to optimize space utilization.
  • Manage interior designers by reviewing designs and ensuring compliance with schedule and budget.
  • Review and finalize space plans with interior designers and provide feedback.
  • Coordinate work schedules and assignments for multiple sites.
  • Develop and recommend policies, procedures, and product standards.
  • Conduct vendor reviews to establish criteria for participation in FF&E programs.
  • Provide expert advice on selecting fixtures and finishes for projects.
  • Present updates on interior projects to executive facilities staff as required.
  • Prepare detailed reports on planning, procurement, and logistics for furniture and equipment projects.
Requirements
  • A minimum of 12 years of experience in interior design and project management.
  • At least 5 years of supervisory experience leading a team in design development, planning, procurement, and logistics for furniture/equipment projects.
  • Experience in space planning and executing projects from concept design to execution documentation.
  • Extensive knowledge of design principles, aesthetics, building systems, codes, and ADA requirements.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage deliverables, schedules, and logistics.
  • Excellent communication skills, including presentation and graphic communication.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage and lead staff through direct authority and subject matter expertise.
Education and Certifications
  • A bachelor's degree in interior design, interior architecture, or architecture from a recognized college or university.
  • Interior Design Certification (CID) or Certified Interior Designer (CIDQ).
Compensation and Benefits

The estimated salary range for this position is $125,000 - $140,000 per year, depending on location and experience.
