Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Speech and Language Pathologist to join our team at REHAB Hospital of the Pacific. As a Speech and Language Pathologist, you will be responsible for diagnosing and treating individuals with speech-language, cognitive-communicative, and swallowing disabilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Diagnose and treat individuals with speech-language, cognitive-communicative, and swallowing disabilities
  • Perform orientation training to patients, family members, and/or caregivers related to communication and swallowing disorders
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to meet the unique needs of each patient
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care
  • Conduct assessments and evaluations to identify areas of need and develop treatment plans
Requirements
  • Current State of Hawaii SP licensure
  • Current ASHA membership card (American Speech-Language-Hearing Association)
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology by the American Speech-Language & Hearing Association
  • Current BLS certification
  • Completion of competencies and other job-related and REHAB requirements
Preferred Qualifications
  • Special emphasis in Master's program in the area of Neurogenic Communication Disorders and in Dysphagia
  • Clinical Fellowship (CF) completed in a site providing rehabilitation services
