Speech Language Pathologist Job Description
Hawaii Pacific Health is seeking a compassionate Speech Language Pathologist to join our team. As a Speech Language Pathologist at Straub Medical Center, you will have the opportunity to bring the gift of speech and rehabilitative speech therapy to patients suffering communicational challenges.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide speech-language services and consultation for inpatients and outpatients at medical center locations and contract sites.
- Work with people who have difficulty producing speech sounds, such as rhythm and fluency problems, stuttering, voice disorders, cognitive communication impairments, or simply those who wish to improve their communication skills.
- Collaborate with a team of healthcare professionals to deliver high-quality patient care.
Requirements:
- Current Hawai'i Speech Language Pathology license.
- Current American Heart Association Heart Saver – AED CPR card.
- American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) Certification.
- One (1) year general speech language pathology experience (preferred).
