Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Speech Language Pathologist to join our team at Queen's Medical Center. As an Inpatient Therapist, you will work closely with our multidisciplinary team to provide high-quality care to patients with communication and swallowing disorders.

Responsibilities:

Provide assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of patients with speech, language, and swallowing disorders
Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to meet patient needs
Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care
Maintain accurate records and documentation of patient progress

Requirements:

Current Hawaii State license as a Speech Language Pathologist
Current American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) certification
Current certification in CPR at BLS/HCP level
Completion of a FEES (Flexible Endoscopic Evaluation of Swallow) course

Preferred Qualifications:

Prior FEES clinical experience and MBS ImP
Experience with adult swallowing, communication, and cognitive evaluation
