Role Summary:
We are seeking a licensed social worker to contribute to the Psychiatric Observation Suite at the Moses Division. The selected candidate will collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to conduct evaluations, facilitate inpatient admissions, and provide care coordination and family support for patients undergoing evaluation in the context of psychiatric emergencies. It is essential for the associate to adhere to documentation standards set by the Department of Health and hospital protocols.
Qualifications:- Must possess a valid NY LMSW/LCSW license.
- Familiarity with the DSMV is mandatory.
- Experience or training in acute treatment environments (such as emergency rooms, CPEP, or inpatient settings) is highly desirable.
- Spanish language proficiency is preferred but not required.
- Standard work schedule is Monday through Friday.
