Job Summary

We are seeking a Mental Health Rehabilitation Specialist to join our team in Bangor, ME, Hampden, ME, and Bucksport, ME. As a Mental Health Rehabilitation Specialist, you will provide support to adults with mental health challenges, assisting them to achieve their goals and promoting their community integration and inclusion. This is a part-time position available in Bucksport, ME, and overnight and per diem/relief positions available in Bangor, ME, Hampden, ME, and Bucksport, ME.

Responsibilities

As a Mental Health Rehabilitation Specialist, your responsibilities will include:

  • Providing support to adults with mental health challenges in a residential setting
  • Assisting clients to achieve their goals and promoting their community integration and inclusion
  • Administering medication as prescribed
  • Participating in recreational and social outings and activities with clients

Requirements

To be successful as a Mental Health Rehabilitation Specialist, you will need to have:
  • A high school diploma/GED
  • 18 years of age or over
  • Active driver's license
  • Experience in direct care, preferred, but not required. Willing to train.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with residents and coworkers whose primary language is English

Location

Salary

The estimated salary for this position is between $21.25 and $25.00 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications. We provide opportunities for career advancement and offer a competitive salary and benefits package.
