Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Mental Health Worker to join our team at the Dorothea Dix Psychiatric Center. As a key member of our staff, you will provide paraprofessional support work involving the direct care and rehabilitation of patients with severe and persistent mental illness.

Responsibilities
  • Implement programs, treatment, and education for patients with severe mental illness.
  • Provide direct patient care and support.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care.
  • Document patient progress and maintain accurate records.
Requirements
  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • Preference given to candidates with experience in mental health and a valid Maine driver's license.
