Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Patient Care Specialist to join our team at Northern Light Health. This is a full-time position working 36 hours per week with a 5:30 AM to 2:00 PM schedule.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide therapeutic care and support to patients with mental illness, substance use disorders, and intellectual disorders.
  • Function as a member of the multidisciplinary treatment team under the supervision of professional staff.
  • Assist patients with activities of daily living, including personal care, and aid in recovery with a focus on social, emotional, and physical wellbeing.
  • Act as a subject matter expert to lower level staff and handle more complex cases.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and act as a preceptor for new staff members.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Previous experience in a mental health setting preferred.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
