About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Cloud Network Engineer, Senior to join our team at Booz Allen. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for analyzing complex local and wide area network systems, including planning, designing, evaluating, and configuring operating systems and protocol suites for virtualized and containerized systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Analyze and resolve difficult interoperability problems to obtain operation across host, hypervisor, and guest nodes.
  • Load and configure cloud servers and vendors such as Cisco or Juniper, or white box routers and switches.
  • Support the acquisition of hardware and software and subcontractor services.
  • Act as a technical project leader or provide work leadership to junior employees, as needed.
Requirements
  • 5+ years of experience providing technical support for the engineering and testing of complex software and hardware systems in the communication field.
  • Experience with network planning for telecommunications switches.
  • Experience conducting integration and system level testing of telecommunications systems or platforms.
  • Experience with Kubernetes and networking equipment, including Cisco or Juniper.
  • Experience with VMWare, QEMU, KVM, or Docker.
  • Experience with Linux or OpenStack.
  • Knowledge of telephony and telecommunications, networking services, and software defined networking.
  • TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph.
  • HS diploma or GED.
  • Cisco CCNA and RHCSA Certification.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with vulnerability analysis and exploit development.
  • Experience with Python.
  • Experience with Assembly.
  • Knowledge of telecommunications.
Clearance

Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; TS/SCI clearance with polygraph is required.

Compensation

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $75,600.00 to $172, annualized USD.
