At Applied Network Solutions, we are seeking a skilled Cloud System Architect to join our team. As a key member of our infrastructure team, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining our cloud infrastructure services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and implement cloud infrastructure services in multiple cloud environments
  • Provide Tier I/II and Tier 3 (Escalation to Architecture Team) resolution of customer capacity requests
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of cloud services
  • Develop and maintain cloud infrastructure documentation and standards
Requirements
  • Strong knowledge of cloud solutions like AWS, OpenStack, and Microsoft Azure products
  • Experience building cloud applications for performance, resiliency, availability, and scale
  • Experience with container management systems (k8s, EKS) in production and Github
  • Must possess one active mid-level or advanced cloud certification (i.e., AWS, Azure, OpenStack)
  • Must have 12 years of related work experience and a bachelor's degree in a related technical field
  • Development experience with both Linux and Windows workloads using cloud technologies with automation including Amazon Cloudformation, OpsWorks, Ansible, Chef, and Docker
  • Active TS/SCI clearance with Polygraph
