Position: Lead IT Business Systems Analyst

Location: Remote/Hybrid

Contract Duration: 16 months

Compensation: $65-$70 per hour

Note: Background check and drug screening are mandatory.


Position Summary
The Lead IT Business Systems Analyst serves as the primary business authority, acting as a bridge between the IT development team and various business units for the creation, enhancement, and deployment of both new and existing systems. This role also involves delivering data and reporting solutions to meet the informational and performance metric requirements of one or more business functions.


Key Responsibilities

  • Provide expert consulting services to clients to identify and fulfill their business requirements.
  • Analyze comprehensive business processes and information needs of varying complexities, covering one or more functional operations of the company and possibly external entities.
  • Gain a thorough understanding of the client's current and future business landscape, effectively anticipating, identifying, and addressing all business needs.
  • Recommend, assess, and document alternatives that will deliver the most effective solutions to resolve business challenges, including the execution of new business initiatives.
  • Proactively address client concerns and inquiries, ensuring timely, professional, and client-focused communication through meetings, reports, calls, and emails.
  • Prepare and present communications regarding system enhancements and alternatives.
  • Support clients in the effective utilization of production systems.
  • Respond promptly to client inquiries.
  • Collaborate with team members, supervisors, and client organizations to ensure seamless system operations, minimizing disruptions to business activities and enabling achievement of results.
  • Define and document business requirements clearly.
  • Develop business cases to support business initiatives.
  • Prepare and/or review testing plans and conduct quality assessments on test outcomes.
  • Adhere to SOX documentation and other standard process requirements as necessary.
  • Conduct all activities safely and promote safe work practices. Attend safety meetings and training sessions, complying with all safety best practices and accountability models.
  • Demonstrate involvement in projects of medium to high complexity, showcasing leadership in such projects.
  • Possess expert technical knowledge in one or more functional areas of business applications, such as CC&B, SAP, etc., along with project management skills sufficient to coordinate multi-organizational projects.
  • Exhibit excellent written and verbal communication skills.


Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent professional experience.
  • MBA, CPA, or CMA is preferred.
  • Demonstrated coursework and/or training in programming languages relevant to applications and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • 7 to 10 years of experience in similar or related roles.
