Job Summary

The ideal candidate will have at least one year of experience working with animals in a patient care or animal facility setting. You will be responsible for assisting veterinarians with physical examinations, taking vital signs, and preparing patients for surgery.

You will also be responsible for maintaining accurate records, administering vaccines and medications, and providing education to clients on animal care and behavior.

In addition, you will work closely with our veterinary technicians to ensure seamless communication and coordination of patient care.

Responsibilities
  • Assist veterinarians with physical examinations, medical procedures, and surgeries

  • Work closely with veterinary technicians to ensure seamless communication and coordination of patient care
Requirements

To be considered for this position, you must have:

  • At least one year of experience working with animals in a patient care or animal facility setting
  • A high school diploma or equivalent
  • The ability to lift, push, and pull pets and objects weighing up to 50 pounds without assistance
  • The physical strength and endurance to stand for long periods of time and move quickly when needed

Estimated salary: $45,000 - $60,000 per year, depending on experience.
