We are seeking a skilled Veterinarian to join our team at Memorial Veterinary Clinic in Houston, Texas.

This is a unique opportunity for someone ready to grow into a lead role as our founder and lead DVM is planning her retirement.

You will have the chance to work with an incredible clientele who will allow you to practice gold-standard medicine and develop your clinical and non-clinical skills.

Job Summary

The Veterinarian is responsible for providing high-quality care to our patients while developing rapport with their owners.

In addition to physical examinations, surgeries, and dentistry, client communication and education are of utmost importance.

  • Develop a rapport with clients and determine their needs and wishes
  • Explain physical examination findings and communicate a diagnosis to the client
  • Maintain client/patient medical/surgical records
  • Stay up-to-date with new medical information and changes in veterinary medicine
  • Assist in the development of the paraprofessional team
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you must have:

  • A Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree from an accredited university
  • Licensure in good standing to practice in the state of Texas
  • Professional comportment and appearance, with excellent interpersonal skills and a positive attitude
Benefits

We offer a competitive salary range of $150,000 - $200,000 per year, depending on experience, plus benefits such as relocation assistance, paid time off, maternity leave, and professional liability coverage.
