About the Job
  • We are seeking a Receptionist to join our team at Lakeside Veterinary Hospital in Houston, Texas. As a Receptionist, you will be responsible for receiving and placing calls to clients, prioritizing tasks, and maintaining proper documentation.
  • You will also assist clients with scheduling appointments, provide necessary instructions and information, and dispense prescription items as directed by the veterinarian.
  • Maintaining accurate balances and following cash and credit card handling procedures will also be part of your responsibilities.
Requirements
  • Excellent customer service skills and strong communication abilities are essential for this role.
  • You must be able to work independently and as part of a team, demonstrating empathy toward clients and treating pets with compassion and respect.
  • Familiarity with veterinary software and standard office equipment is preferred.
  • A flexible schedule, including some weekend and holiday shifts, is required.
