Job Summary

Catalyst Kids is seeking a highly skilled Human Resources Manager to join our team. As a key member of our HR management team, you will provide strategic HR leadership, consultancy, support, and services to one or more regions, business, or functions. Your primary responsibility will be to support the implementation of agency-wide HR strategies, systems, and programs to foster an exceptional workplace.

Key Responsibilities
  • Anticipate and analyze HR needs based on business strategies, internal and external environmental factors, and competitive analysis.
  • Develop and implement HR strategic and tactical plans to support business goals, including staffing strategies and employee relations initiatives.
  • Lead specific HR projects on a regional level and/or participate as a member of a team.
  • Partner with stakeholders to plan, manage, execute, and monitor projects.
  • Diagnose, coach, and advise managers on day-to-day concerns related to employee performance, productivity, and engagement.
Employee Relations
  • Monitor the overall organizational climate and employee morale, communicating observations regularly.
  • Provide metrics, analysis, and feedback to management on organizational, management, and employee relations issues.
  • Advise managers and employees on employee relations issues using sound judgment and a win-win, solution-oriented approach.
  • Conduct internal investigations and involve Sr. Manager when necessary.
  • Manage conflict through various methods, including mediation, facilitation, and one-to-one meetings.
Performance Management
  • Coach, mentor, and support managers and employees to build capacity and a high-performance culture.
  • Ensure performance management strategies and plans are implemented in the region.
  • Advise and guide managers in the performance management and improvement process, ensuring consistency and optimization.
Talent Retention and Management
  • Work with business partners to assess talent needs in relation to business changes, including the need for specific competencies, knowledge, or skills.
  • Participate in retention interventions with HR Director and implement retention plans for talents within the region.
  • Identify and analyze training gaps and assist with development and implementation of training for staff at the center level.
  • Participate in evaluation and monitoring of training program success, ensuring training objectives are met.
HR Administration
  • Ensure all HR administrative functions are performed efficiently and effectively.
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of HR processes, recommend, and implement improvements.
  • May supervise support and/or professional staff as needed.
  • Work with payroll and corporate HR to ensure required documents are submitted in a timely manner.
Additional Functions
  • Integrate HR goals and objectives into the business plans of the region and communicate to appropriate audiences.
  • Develop and implement proactive employee relations programs.
  • Build and maintain effective working relationships with all levels across the organization.
  • Ability to lead, communicate change initiatives, and facilitate teams.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in HR management, business, social sciences, or related disciplines or equivalent experience.
  • Certification in Human Resources preferred.
  • 5 years' experience in human resources at the professional/management level.
