As a Records Technician II, you will be responsible for maintaining and retrieving company records, verifying and documenting records stored by following established cataloging systems, and ensuring the accuracy and integrity of our records.

Responsibilities:

* Maintain files and ensure they are properly logged and stored
* Retrieve files from the Records Center for client use as requested and deliver them within established time frames
* Prepare files to be sent for storage and arrange for their retrieval when needed
* Maintain the cataloging process, procedures, and rules and regulations
* Evaluate the current cataloging system for completeness, efficiency, and usefulness by taking inventories and reviewing retrieval needs
* Shift files to accommodate needed space as needed
* Create files through data entry into file tracking software and apply labels to folders

Additional Responsibilities:

* May be requested to perform document scanning
* Will be required to learn new features and functionalities of the file tracking software and keep abreast of new regulations

Requirements:

* 2-5 years of experience working with records
* 1+ year of experience in a professional office environment
* Knowledge of records software systems, scanners, filing, storage, and disposal procedures
* Considerable proficiency in computer skills, especially when using records tracking systems for quick retrieval, filing, and storage of files
* Excellent customer service, professional attitude, and appearance are a must
* Ability to work overtime and meet deadlines
