Available Shifts and Hours:

We have openings for both full-time and part-time Registered Nurse positions across Day, Evening, and Night shifts.

Our scheduling options include both 8-hour and 12-hour shifts.

Key Responsibilities:

Essential Functions of a Registered Nurse:

  • Assess and coordinate care based on patients' physical and behavioral health requirements.
  • Formulate and execute individualized nursing care plans.
  • Maintain accurate medical records while educating patients and their families on various health conditions.
  • Deliver nursing care within the established standards and scope as per state regulations and facility policies.
  • Ensure clarity and accuracy of physicians' orders, particularly those taken verbally.
  • Conduct ongoing assessments of patients' statuses and document pertinent information.
  • Communicate significant changes in patient conditions to physicians promptly.
  • Complete initial nursing treatment plans upon patient admission, tailored to assessed needs.
  • Apply universal precautions effectively while providing direct patient care.
  • Administer medications accurately as per prescribed orders.
  • Document controlled substance medication administration accurately.
  • Facilitate efficient admission and discharge processes as required.
  • Build therapeutic relationships with patients while maintaining professional boundaries.
  • Provide leadership or coordinate unit activities as directed.
  • Engage in therapeutic and professional communication with patients, visitors, and colleagues involved in patient care.
Qualifications:

Education, Licensure, Experience, and Skills Required:

  • Graduation from an accredited nursing program is mandatory.
  • A valid Registered Nurse (RN) license as required by state regulations.
  • A minimum of one year of nursing experience; experience in psychiatric, mental, behavioral, or substance abuse nursing is advantageous.
  • Certification in CPR and de-escalation/restraint techniques is required (training provided upon hire).
  • First aid certification may be necessary based on state or facility guidelines.
