Job Title: Advanced Practitioner for Allergy Care

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Advanced Practitioner to join our team at Allergy Partners. This is a rewarding opportunity to work with patients who suffer from allergies and make a positive impact on their lives.

About the Role

This role will be based in our Winchester, VA office and will involve working closely with our physicians and other healthcare professionals to provide top-notch patient care. As an Advanced Practitioner, you will be responsible for taking patient histories, conducting physical examinations, ordering diagnostic tests, and developing treatment plans. You will also be required to prescribe medications and treatments, as well as educate patients and families about their conditions and treatment options.

The ideal candidate will have at least two years of experience working in a physician's office or hospital setting, and will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills. You will also need to be comfortable using electronic medical records and practice management software, as well as interacting with patients and families via email and phone.

Responsibilities
  • Taking patient histories and conducting physical examinations
  • Ordering diagnostic tests and developing treatment plans
  • Prescribing medications and treatments
  • Educating patients and families about their conditions and treatment options
  • Collaborating with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care
Requirements
  • Master's degree in Nursing (NP) or related field
  • Current licensure as a Nurse Practitioner
  • At least two years of experience working in a physician's office or hospital setting
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Comfortable using electronic medical records and practice management software
