Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner to join our team at Shenandoah Community Health in Winchester, VA.

Job Summary

This full-time outpatient position will serve as part of our multi-disciplinary Behavioral Health Services Team. As a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner, you will provide therapy and psychopharmacology consults to patients in a collaborative environment with social workers, nurses, psychologists, professional counselors, recovery coaches, and support staff.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide high-quality patient care through therapy and psychopharmacology consults
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary team members to ensure seamless care coordination
  • Contribute to a dynamic and supportive work environment
Requirements

To be considered for this opportunity, you must:

  • Be licensed or eligible for licensure in the state of Virginia
  • Maintain a Virginia DEA license
  • Be board certified in Psychiatric Mental Health Nursing
  • Possess excellent communication and basic computer skills
