Key Responsibilities
In the capacity of an IT Support Specialist, you will be responsible for:
- Leveraging technology to meet organizational needs and limitations.
- Guiding personnel to optimize their use of computing resources effectively.
- Combining extensive IT knowledge with a strong focus on exceptional customer service.
- Engaging in company-wide IT initiatives and projects.
- Identifying and resolving hardware, software, and user-related issues.
- Providing advanced troubleshooting for complex IT challenges.
- Supporting various software applications.
- Delivering on-site training for enterprise applications as needed.
- Coordinating hardware and software requests through the designated requisition system.
- Offering hardware and printing support.
- Assisting the IT Support team with the management of desktop, laptop, printer, and other personal hardware inventories.
- Helping with software inventory management as required.
- Facilitating local office communication regarding technical support matters.
- Understanding client requirements and aligning them with appropriate technological solutions.
- Collaborating with Systems Administrators on IT infrastructure tasks.
- Performing additional duties as necessary.
Preferred Qualifications
- Familiarity with MicroStation, AutoCAD, ProjectWise, and/or GIS.
- Willingness to travel as required.
Required Qualifications
- Associate's degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
- A minimum of one year of experience in technical support for PCs, networks, and servers.
- Strong proficiency with personal computers and peripherals.
- Experience in systems operations and maintenance.
- Knowledge of Windows operating systems and Microsoft Office applications.
- Exceptional client service, interpersonal, and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines independently.
