Key Responsibilities
In the capacity of an IT Support Specialist, you will be responsible for:

  • Leveraging technology to meet organizational needs and limitations.
  • Guiding personnel to optimize their use of computing resources effectively.
  • Combining extensive IT knowledge with a strong focus on exceptional customer service.
  • Engaging in company-wide IT initiatives and projects.
  • Identifying and resolving hardware, software, and user-related issues.
  • Providing advanced troubleshooting for complex IT challenges.
  • Supporting various software applications.
  • Delivering on-site training for enterprise applications as needed.
  • Coordinating hardware and software requests through the designated requisition system.
  • Offering hardware and printing support.
  • Assisting the IT Support team with the management of desktop, laptop, printer, and other personal hardware inventories.
  • Helping with software inventory management as required.
  • Facilitating local office communication regarding technical support matters.
  • Understanding client requirements and aligning them with appropriate technological solutions.
  • Collaborating with Systems Administrators on IT infrastructure tasks.
  • Performing additional duties as necessary.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Familiarity with MicroStation, AutoCAD, ProjectWise, and/or GIS.
  • Willingness to travel as required.

Required Qualifications
  • Associate's degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
  • A minimum of one year of experience in technical support for PCs, networks, and servers.
  • Strong proficiency with personal computers and peripherals.
  • Experience in systems operations and maintenance.
  • Knowledge of Windows operating systems and Microsoft Office applications.
  • Exceptional client service, interpersonal, and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines independently.
