Job Summary

The Director of Human Resources and Organizational Development will play a pivotal role in shaping the organizational landscape of Pennsylvania Western University. Reporting directly to the Vice President for Finance and Administration, this individual will be responsible for developing and executing human capital strategies that drive business growth and excellence.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement comprehensive human capital strategies aligned with the university's strategic objectives;
  • Lead the development and execution of talent management programs, including recruitment, retention, and succession planning;
  • Collaborate with senior leadership to design and implement organizational change initiatives that drive business growth and excellence;
  • Foster a culture of diversity, equity, and inclusion, ensuring that all employees feel valued and supported;
  • Manage employee relations, resolving conflicts and addressing concerns in a fair and timely manner;
  • Develop and manage budgets, ensuring effective allocation of resources to support HR initiatives;
  • Cultivate strong relationships with stakeholders, including faculty, staff, students, and external partners.

Requirements

  • MBA or Master's degree in Human Resources or related field;
  • At least 10 years of experience in human resources, with a minimum of 5 years in a senior leadership role;
  • Proven track record of driving organizational change and achieving business results;
  • Exceptional leadership and communication skills, with the ability to build and motivate high-performing teams;
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions;
  • Demonstrated expertise in talent management, succession planning, and employee engagement.

Salary and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary range of $120,000 - $160,000 per annum, depending on experience. In addition, we provide a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, vision, and retirement savings plans.
