Sales Representative

Job Summary:
Volt is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Sales Representative to join our team. As a Sales Representative, you will be responsible for developing and implementing effective sales strategies to drive sales growth in the assigned area.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement effective sales strategies to drive sales growth in the assigned area.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities through market research and networking.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential clients.
- Conduct regular sales visits to clients to understand their needs and provide solutions.
- Prepare and deliver sales presentations and proposals to clients.
- Monitor market trends and competitor activities to identify opportunities and threats.
- Achieve and exceed sales targets and objectives.
- Provide regular sales reports and forecasts to management.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to develop promotional materials and campaigns.
- Attend industry events and trade shows to represent the company and generate leads.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in chemistry, Chemical Engineering or Business field preferred.
- 2+ years of sales experience is preferred.
- Ability to travel up to 25% including overnight travel.
- Demonstrated experience selling in the industrial food and beverage industry.
- Strong understanding of food plant sanitation protocols.
- Familiar with what SQF or BRC is helpful but not necessary.
- Proven effectiveness in prospecting, closing new projects, and delivering effective presentations.
- Demonstrated ability to build and manage long-term customer relationships.
- High achievement orientation; driven to perform and grow.
- Strong consultation, negotiation, problem-resolution, and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Ability to understand new product lines and utilize knowledge to fulfill customer needs.
- Professionally developed sales and territory management skills.
- Must possess a valid driver's license and clean driving record.
- Ability to perform technical/mechanical on-site testing.
What We Offer:
Volt offers a competitive salary range of $80,000 - $90,000 per year, as well as a comprehensive benefits package.
