About the Job

As a Senior Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner, you will be responsible for providing safe, competent nursing care to patients in accordance with facility policies and standards. You will also provide professional leadership and support to the healthcare team, promoting Patient Centered Care and Service Excellence standards at all times.

  • Performs nursing assessments, group psychoeducation, family psychoeducation, and individual psychoeducation.
  • Develops nursing-related programs as appropriate and tracks daily attendance, admissions, and discharges of PHP patients.
  • Participates in the development of treatment plans, reviews and updates them as needed, and interacts with community agencies to establish mental health networks.
  • Charts every session, participates in program development meetings, communicates and coordinates services with supervisors, and assists the Assessment and UR department as needed.

Salary and Benefits

The estimated salary for this position is $93,350 per year, based on industry standards and location. Requirements and Qualifications

To be considered for this position, you must have a minimum of three years' experience in a mental health setting, preferably with assessment and referral experience.
