Job Summary:

The Assistant General Manager - Operations Lead is a key member of the Rigsby's Smoked Burgers and Wings management team, responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our stores. This exempt position reports directly to the General Manager and is responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our restaurants, focusing on customer satisfaction, employee development, and maintaining high standards of quality and service.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Store Operations: Supervise and coordinate the activities of hourly managers and non-management associates to ensure efficient store operations, including scheduling, inventory management, and customer service.
  • Team Development: Coach and develop hourly managers and non-management associates to improve their skills and performance, with a focus on customer satisfaction, quality, and safety.
  • Quality and Safety: Ensure that all store operations meet the highest standards of quality and safety, including food safety, cleanliness, and maintenance of equipment and facilities.
  • Customer Service: Foster a positive customer experience by ensuring that all customers receive excellent service, including prompt and friendly service, accurate orders, and resolution of any issues or complaints.
  • Inventory Management: Manage inventory levels, including ordering, receiving, and stocking of products, to ensure that stores are adequately stocked and that inventory levels are optimized.
  • Reporting and Analysis: Prepare and analyze reports on store performance, including sales, customer satisfaction, and employee performance, to identify areas for improvement and make data-driven decisions.

Requirements:

  • Experience: Requires up to 1 year of job-related experience in low-volume and/or multi-unit Food and Beverage or Merchandise operations or other related management experience.
  • Skills: Demonstrates team management, delegation, and issue resolution skills, as well as the ability to multi-task and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Knowledge: Demonstrates knowledge of Rigsby's Smoked Burgers and Wings policies and procedures, as well as product, service, quality, equipment, and operations standards.
  • Communication: Requires the ability to speak, read, and comprehend instructions, short correspondence, and policy documents, as well as converse comfortably with individuals.
