Job Overview
The primary role involves delivering exceptional support to both clients and sales teams. This position demands adaptability to evolving processes, effective problem-solving abilities, and the capacity to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
Key Responsibilities
- Engage in extensive telephone and email communication with clients and sales personnel regarding orders, shipments, and pricing inquiries.
- Oversee designated key accounts.
- Facilitate the entry of new orders and modifications to existing orders.
- Process customer returns, credit requests, and document customer complaints.
- Maintain order management practices.
- Exhibit a calm and friendly demeanor consistently.
- Collaborate with internal teams to expedite order fulfillment.
- Develop and maintain a comprehensive understanding of product applications and functionalities.
- Address customer inquiries effectively.
- Assist with special projects as required.
- Perform additional duties as assigned within the scope of this role.
Education & Experience
A minimum of two years in customer service or a related field is preferred, ideally within a manufacturing context. A high school diploma or GED equivalent is required, along with an associate degree or equivalent.
Required Skills
- Proficiency in Windows, Excel, Outlook, and other Microsoft Office applications.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving capabilities.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Experience with SAP is mandatory.
- Effective communication, listening, and teamwork skills are essential.
- Familiarity with SharePoint and Smartsheet is advantageous.
Qualifications
Education: High School/GED or better.
Experience: Relevant experience in customer service.
