Position Overview:
We are in search of a motivated and experienced Commercial Lines Account Manager to become a vital part of our team. Key Responsibilities:
As a Commercial Lines Account Manager, your responsibilities will include:
1. Overseeing a portfolio of commercial accounts, ensuring that all client service expectations are met and surpassed.
2. Building and nurturing strong relationships with clients, gaining insight into their business needs and insurance requirements.
3. Collaborating with the sales team to facilitate a smooth onboarding process for new clients.
4. Evaluating and analyzing clients' current insurance coverage, providing tailored recommendations for enhancements.
5. Managing the renewal process for all assigned clients, including the preparation of renewal proposals and negotiation with carriers for optimal terms.
6. Addressing client inquiries and resolving issues promptly and professionally.
7. Working alongside underwriters and adjusters to manage claims and risk management concerns.
8. Keeping abreast of industry trends, regulations, and products to offer the best guidance and service to clients.
Qualifications:
To qualify for the role of Commercial Lines Account Manager, candidates should possess:
1. A minimum of 3+ years of experience in commercial insurance and account management.
2. A proven history of delivering exceptional customer service.
3. Strong understanding of commercial insurance products and risk management principles.
4. Excellent negotiation and problem-solving abilities.
5. Capability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced setting.
6. Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
7. Proficiency in insurance software and Microsoft Office Suite.
8. An insurance designation such as CIC, CRM, or CPCU is preferred.
