Job Summary

At SP+, we are seeking a highly skilled Maintenance Supervisor to join our team. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for directing and managing routine cleaning, maintenance, and repair activities, including power washing, slurring, striping, sweeping, and commercial painting.


Key Responsibilities
  • Direct and manage routine cleaning, maintenance, and repair activities, including power washing, slurring, striping, sweeping, and commercial painting.
  • Manage the day-to-day activities of assigned projects, including supervising maintenance crews and ensuring completion of all daily, weekly, monthly, and annual maintenance and cleaning projects.
  • Assist with management duties, including scheduling, monitoring, and checking of timecards.
  • Supervise the completion of all ongoing and future projects.
  • Monitor and implement effective safety procedures.
  • Report any known accidents, safety hazards, or unusual occurrences observed or suspected violations of Company policy to the General Manager, Maintenance Services.
  • Assist with cleanup of debris, water, oil spills, and other hazards.
  • Conduct regular facility and equipment inspections to ensure all are in good maintenance conditions.
  • Ensure compliance with environmental standards and corporate governance.
  • Lead programs to improve client and customer satisfaction.
  • Perform other necessary functions as assigned.

Requirements
  • High School Graduate. Some college a plus.
  • Intermediate computer skills utilizing Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, and Outlook).
  • Thorough knowledge of all areas of maintenance.
  • Ability to perform general repair, electrical, mechanical, and cleaning maintenance.
  • Desire a minimum of six months worth of experience in the service industry (maintenance industry preferred), but not required.
  • Special consideration given to those candidates who have a diverse maintenance background.
  • Experience with driving light construction equipment preferred.
  • Superior verbal and written communication skills.
  • Must be proactive with strong problem-solving skills and proven customer service skills and must be willing to lead by example.
  • Must be willing to work a flexible work schedule.
  • License Requirement: Must possess a valid state-issued driver's license with a current address and acceptable driving record.
