Job Description

The IT Quality Assurance Intern will collaborate with other interns on a project designed to provide experience within the Software Development Life Cycle, working as part of an Agile team. While software development skills are not required, interns interested in exploring test automation will have the opportunity to gain experience in scripting tests, updating scripts, executing tests, and analyzing test results.

  • Understand and analyze project requirements for comprehensive test coverage.
  • Develop test plans and strategies, create and maintain manual and automated test cases.
  • Execute tests, document results, and ensure thorough testing.
  • Identify, document, and track defects; collaborate with developers to resolve issues.
  • Assist with developing and executing automated tests.
  • Generate and present test status reports and metrics.
  • Participate in process improvement initiatives.
