We are seeking a highly skilled Software Quality Assurance Engineer to join our team at HighByte, an industrial software company based in Portland, Maine. This is a full-time position that requires a strong passion for delivering high-quality software products and collaborating with cross-functional teams.
Responsibilities- Contribute to quality assurance practices and processes to ensure the delivery of high-quality software products.
- Design, develop, modify automated and manual tests for new and existing software to meet customer requirements.
- Collaborate with product managers and engineers to understand customer needs and develop effective test procedures.
- Direct system testing and validation procedures to ensure software meets industry standards.
- Communicate effectively with colleagues, partners, and end-users to ensure seamless integration of software solutions.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent foreign degree in computer science or related field.
- 2+ years of professional software testing experience in B2B software development, preferably in the United States or overseas.
- Experience with various technologies, including SQL, AWS, Microsoft Azure, Docker, REST, JSON, MQTT, networks, and security.
- Familiarity with agile software development methodologies, such as Scrum.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
