Dialysis Patient Care Technician
At Innovative Renal Care, we are seeking a skilled Dialysis Patient Care Technician to join our team. As a PCT, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care to individuals suffering from End Stage Renal Disease (ESRD).
Responsibilities:
* Monitor patients before, during, and after dialysis treatment, including measuring and recording vital signs, initiating cannulation, and patient observations.
* Set up and operate hemodialysis machines, ensuring accurate and efficient treatment.
* Develop deep relationships with patients and their families, providing emotional support and education on dialysis treatment and care.
* Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure seamless patient care and treatment.
Requirements:
* High School Diploma or equivalent required.
* Must have a desire to care for people and be comfortable working around blood and needles.
* Experienced PCTs must have current certification from BONENT, NNCC, or NNCO or if applicable, other state-approved certification.
* Experience PCTs are required to have current BLS/CPR certification.
