Job Summary

Curana Health is seeking a skilled Physiatrist to join our team of healthcare professionals. As a Physiatrist, you will be responsible for providing comprehensive geriatric and post-acute care services to our senior living residents.

Key Responsibilities
  • Diagnose and treat a variety of diseases and injuries in geriatric patients
  • Evaluate and treat patients with physical and/or cognitive impairments and disabilities
  • Determine and implement appropriate treatment plans for patients
  • Monitor ongoing progress and health of patients, and changes treatment plans, as necessary
  • Provide adaptive tools to improve the overall health and physical functioning of patients
  • Counsel patients and their families and helps them adapt to lifestyle changes
Requirements
  • Doctor of Medicine (M.D) or Doctor of Osteopathy (D.O.) degree
  • Current unrestricted license to practice medicine in the State of employment
  • Certification by The American Board of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation (ABPMR)
  • Current DPS and DEA certificates (or in progress)
