Job Summary

This role is responsible for ensuring that required training is conducted and documented, and providing administrative support as needed. The ideal candidate will have experience in administrative duties, including training, and a strong understanding of state and federal guidelines governing Evergreen programs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement training programs for staff, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Assist with the orientation process for new employees, including completing new hire packets and ensuring timely documentation.
  • Provide administrative support to the Division, including human resources, finance, and other tasks as needed.
  • Screen, evaluate, and recommend applicants for interview, and assist with preparation for interviews.
  • Conduct reference checks and maintain employee files with confidentiality.
  • Verify and maintain employee drivers' license and auto insurance information.
  • Complete all PCNs and required documentation for staff changes.
  • Assist with verification and correction of all payroll documents.

Qualifications and Experience

  • High school diploma and at least three years of experience in administrative duties, including training.
  • At least two years of experience working in the field of ID/DD, with a bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Basic knowledge of state and federal guidelines governing Evergreen programs.

Working Environment

  • General office environment.

  • Ability to meet the public in a manner that reflects creditably upon the organization and must have the ability to deal with consumers and staff in a manner that is conducive to harmony and their best efforts.
  • Must be adaptable and have the ability to make decisions.
  • May be required to attend seminars or job-related training courses.
  • Must have understanding, patience, and tact in dealing with consumers, their families, or advocates and other agencies involved in providing supports for people served.
  • Must have the ability to maintain good working relationships with Evergreen staff and with contacts from other agencies or entities.
  • Must be able to prioritize work tasks.
  • Must be able to work without close personal supervision.

Employment Variables

  • Must have a good driving record that meets the minimum requirements for Evergreen and reliable transportation.
  • Must pass a drug screen and criminal background check.
  • Must be able to work some evenings when required.
