Security Officer

We are seeking a highly skilled Security Officer to join our team at Allied Universal.
About the JobThe successful candidate will be responsible for providing top-notch security services, safeguarding personnel, property, and sensitive information. This role requires professionalism, discretion, and a strong sense of responsibility.
Responsibilities- Conduct regular patrols within and around the facility to ensure the protection of people, assets, and classified information.
- Greet guests and employees, escort visitors, and contractors to secure entry and exit points.
- Follow site-specific performance manuals and post orders, reporting safety concerns, security breaches, and unusual circumstances to the client and/or other security personnel.
- Respond to and assess security alarms or emergency situations, acting as a first responder when necessary.
Requirements:
- A high school diploma or equivalent, or 5 years of verifiable experience in a related field.
- A Department of Defense (DoD) position-appropriate level security clearance is required.
- Licensing requirements may be subject to state and/or local laws and regulations.
- At least three (3) years of security experience on a Department of Defense-cleared site, prior military experience, or exceptional customer service skills are preferred.
