Position Overview:

We are currently in search of a highly motivated and detail-oriented Shipping Supervisor to become a vital part of our dynamic logistics team.

Key Responsibilities:
As a Shipping Supervisor, your responsibilities will include:

  • Overseeing and managing all facets of shipping activities, ensuring adherence to domestic and international shipping regulations.
  • Coordinating with various departments to guarantee timely and accurate delivery of goods.
  • Implementing operational policies and procedures to enhance efficiency and productivity within the shipping department.
  • Monitoring shipping costs, timelines, and productivity, identifying areas for improvement.
  • Resolving any shipping-related issues or discrepancies promptly and effectively.
  • Maintaining precise records of all shipping activities, including tracking information, costs, and delivery timelines.
  • Training, supervising, and evaluating shipping staff, fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment.
  • Staying informed on the latest industry trends, regulations, and best practices related to shipping and logistics.

Qualifications:
The ideal candidate for the Shipping Supervisor position will possess the following qualifications:

  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in manufacturing, logistics, or freight, preferably within the food and beverage sector.
  • Demonstrated experience in a supervisory or managerial role, showcasing strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of domestic and international shipping regulations and procedures.
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities, with a proven track record of effectively resolving shipping-related issues.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills, capable of managing multiple shipping activities simultaneously.
  • Proficiency in utilizing shipping software and other related IT systems.
  • Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to effectively engage with team members, other departments, and external stakeholders.
  • A Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Logistics, or a related field is preferred.
