As a technical authority, you will spearhead the operational excellence initiatives through a data-centric methodology, playing a pivotal role in the ongoing advancement of the entire facility.
Key Responsibilities of the Senior Process Improvement Leader:
Your primary focus will be on the effectiveness of process and engineering across the site, striving to enhance and optimize machinery, workflows, engineering practices, and production lines.
Collaborate with leadership across various functions to address daily challenges and oversee capital investment projects, particularly concerning technical aspects.Ensure that the Manufacturing Process and Systems team is engaged and nurtured to fulfill current and future developmental, technical, and capacity requirements.
Contribute to the operational strategy of the team, including justifications for capital expenditures related to site enhancements and new machinery.Assist in establishing, monitoring, and improving compliance with Quality, Cost, Delivery, Safety, and Environmental standards. Maintain process documentation to support operational processes and meet all external and internal audit requirements.
Encourage and drive innovation and enhancements in production processes and systems, employing Statistical Process Control (SPC), correlation analysis, and continuous improvement methodologies to analyze and test adjustments in production processes.
Collaborate with Production, Engineering, Quality, and Development Managers to prioritize tasks, optimize formulations and efficiencies, and support both technical and aesthetic product advancements.
Utilize a data-driven SPC/Six Sigma methodology to substantiate changes.Qualifications and Experience Required for the Senior Process Improvement Leader:
Experience in Process or Production Engineering within a manufacturing environment, with a proven ability to lead process development through a data-driven approach.
Six Sigma Green or Black Belt certification is preferred.
A degree or equivalent qualification in engineering or chemistry.
A robust background in manufacturing, change management, and process experience (ideally 6-10 years or more).
