About the RoleWe are seeking a motivated, creative, and enthusiastic (Senior) Consultant to lead all phases of project execution, including requirements gathering, solution design, application configuration, system testing, education, and adoption. The successful candidate will develop ongoing, successful business relationships with clients and provide clients with industry best practice recommendations.
Key Responsibilities- Participate in full life cycle client-facing implementation projects as part of an Infor project team.
- Add value to customer projects by using Infor solutions and implementations derived from practical experiences.
- Provide customers with integration and industry expertise as well as best practice recommendations.
- Work on complex issues where analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth evaluation of variable factors.
- Conduct business process surveys to determine client processes and data needs.
- Design solutions to align client business needs with standard application capabilities.
- Build and configure solutions based on design, using iterations of prototypes and testing to validate.
- Provide training to client's key and end users.
- Participate in planning and execution of data conversions.
- Perform thorough system testing.
- Act as a subject matter expert for applications to support Project Manager, technical resources, and other members of the project team.
A successful candidate will have experience as an ERP Consultant at a software/IT services and consulting firm or as an ERP Key User/Business Process Owner in the automotive industry. The ideal candidate will possess business process change knowledge and know-how of the automotive industry. Excellent spoken and written German and a good knowledge of English are also required. Product knowledge of Infor LN or any other major ERP software is preferable.
