Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Supply Chain Manager to join our team at Ducommun Aero Structures in Parsons, Kansas. As a key member of our senior operations leadership team, you will be responsible for creating net value for our company by leading the design and execution of a competitive supply chain infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement supply chain strategies to drive business growth and improve operational efficiency
  • Manage the site supply inventory and partner with internal customers to create operational excellence in procurement
  • Lead local supply chain teams in the participation and optimization of cross-site processes and procedures
  • Build and lead a high-performance supply chain team, including selection, training, development, succession, and performance management
  • Manage the annual procurement budget and plan for savings to achieve company goals
  • Implement supply chain best practices and strategies to improve processes and procedures
  • Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers to ensure a high-quality, reliable source of supplies and information
  • Identify and promote information technology solutions to improve supply chain management and achieve cost savings
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field
  • Minimum 7-10 years of well-rounded supply chain management experience in progressively senior positions
  • Experience in supply chain management at a senior site level within the aerospace and defense industry
  • Demonstrated expertise in ERP and MRP systems, quality systems, lean, and continuous improvement processes
  • Proven experience building and developing a high-performance team of supply chain professionals
