We are seeking a highly skilled Mechanical Engineer to join our Engineering Design Organization in the Southeast region. As a Mechanical Engineer, you will play a key role in the design and development of HVAC and plumbing systems for various buildings and facilities.
Key Responsibilities- Complete engineering tasks from concept design through construction closeout, including development of construction drawings, specifications, calculations, and cost estimates.
- Develop and execute project plans and specifications.
- Work reliably and proactively within multi-discipline project teams.
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering.
- 5-10 years of HVAC design experience for either public and/or private sector; previous consulting experience highly desired.
- Solid understanding of state and national building and energy codes and standards.
- Familiarity with HVAC load calculation software and Revit.
- Highly developed communication skills, both oral and written.
- PE license in one or more states would be preferred.
- US Citizenship is a must, since most of our projects are for federal clients.
