Position Overview:

Daikin Comfort Technologies Distribution, Inc. is looking for a dedicated and skilled individual to fill the role of HVAC Customer Service Representative for our branch operations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Engage with both potential and existing customers to sell the organization’s products and services.
  • Address customer inquiries through various communication channels, including face-to-face interactions, phone calls, and electronic correspondence.
  • Collaborate with the Regional Manager or Branch Manager to enhance territory coverage and foster positive relationships with dealers.

Responsibilities Include:
  • Assist in achieving sales targets by maintaining accounts and communicating new product launches and promotions through proactive outreach.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service through various channels, ensuring a seamless sales experience.
  • Manage all aspects of the sales process, including order entry, payment processing, and delivery coordination, while ensuring accuracy in all transactions.
  • Provide recommendations for alternative products based on customer needs and market availability.
  • Monitor shipment schedules to guarantee timely delivery and coordinate with relevant departments as necessary.
  • Generate both new and repeat sales by offering timely product and technical information.
  • Educate customers on product features and benefits to enhance their satisfaction and drive sales.
  • Assist customers with warranty claims and returns, ensuring adherence to company policies.
  • Maintain records and prepare reports on sales activities and customer interactions.
  • Stay informed about HVAC products and industry trends to provide knowledgeable support.
  • Collaborate effectively with management and peers to ensure a cohesive approach to customer service.
Qualifications:
  • Minimum of 3 years of progressive sales experience.
  • High School diploma or GED equivalent; some college education preferred.
  • Knowledge of HVAC equipment and products is advantageous.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and database applications.
  • Strong customer service and relationship management skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
  • Effective organizational and time management skills, with a keen attention to detail.
