Help Desk Support Specialist

Join V-Soft Consulting Group, a leading technology services company, as a Help Desk Support Specialist. In this role, you will provide technical support to clients, resolving issues with workstation, application, and server-related problems.
Responsibilities:- Install, maintain, and upgrade workstation and peripheral hardware and software.
- Respond to and resolve workstation, application, and server-related problems.
- Update desktop software and applications, and maintain documentation on installed applications.
- Provide users with assistance in working with specific applications.
- Maintain and troubleshoot office-related equipment and applications, such as copiers, fax machines, printers, building access systems, and email accounts.
- Provide unit-level support in the installation, operation, and maintenance of computer systems.
- Interact with users within assigned units, including management, faculty, and staff personnel.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- 2-5 years of job-related experience.
- Experience with Linux, Helpdesk, account management, including account creation, password resets, and setting permissions.
- Supporting secure VTC calls, conducting basic user troubleshooting, software patching and upgrades, system hardening, and producing RMF documentation.
- Supporting office equipment, such as printers and scanners, and documenting installed applications.
