Job Title: Service Desk Specialist

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Service Desk Specialist to join our team at Insight Global. The successful candidate will provide timely support for user-identified errors and system alarms, troubleshoot and restore technical service and equipment incidents, and maintain frequent interaction with end-users.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide technical support for users via phone, email, and in-person
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues in a timely and efficient manner
  • Escalate complex issues to senior technical staff as needed
  • Communicate effectively with users and technical staff to resolve issues
  • Document and track technical issues and resolutions
  • Participate in on-call rotation to provide 24/7 support

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • 2+ years of experience in an IT service role
  • Active Directory experience and understanding of Windows 10
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Certifications such as A+, Net+, or related
  • Experience with asset management and ordering hardware
  • Experience supporting a large environment with end-users

Compensation and Benefits:

$25-$28/hour, with benefits including medical, dental, and vision insurance, HSA, FSA, and DCFSA account options, and 401k retirement account access with employer matching.
