Service Desk Support Specialist

Job Title: Service Desk Specialist
Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Service Desk Specialist to join our team at Insight Global. The successful candidate will provide timely support for user-identified errors and system alarms, troubleshoot and restore technical service and equipment incidents, and maintain frequent interaction with end-users.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide technical support for users via phone, email, and in-person
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues in a timely and efficient manner
- Escalate complex issues to senior technical staff as needed
- Communicate effectively with users and technical staff to resolve issues
- Document and track technical issues and resolutions
- Participate in on-call rotation to provide 24/7 support
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- 2+ years of experience in an IT service role
- Active Directory experience and understanding of Windows 10
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
Preferred Qualifications:
- Certifications such as A+, Net+, or related
- Experience with asset management and ordering hardware
- Experience supporting a large environment with end-users
Compensation and Benefits:
$25-$28/hour, with benefits including medical, dental, and vision insurance, HSA, FSA, and DCFSA account options, and 401k retirement account access with employer matching.
