Job Title: Senior Capital Budget Analyst

Join the Office of the Chief Financial Officer, Washington, DC, as a Senior Capital Budget Analyst. This role is a critical part of our team, responsible for coordinating specific areas of the Capital program. The incumbent will develop long-range goals and objectives for the District program/project fixed assets, analyze procedures for implementing construction activities, and maintain and protect the database on which the program depends.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement budgetary policies and procedures
  • Formulate spending forecasts for multi-year programs, facilities, and major equipment
  • Coordinate the development of bond resolution information to support the sale of general obligation bonds
  • Perform other related duties as assigned
Requirements:
  • Five (5) years of progressive experience performing duties related to the work of the position
  • Expert knowledge of budgetary administration, policy, and regulations
  • Ability to resolve complex budget issues
