Position Overview

The Parts Administrator will be responsible for ensuring the organization and efficiency of the parts area. The ideal candidate will possess strong office skills and a commitment to maintaining accurate records and inventory management.

Key Responsibilities
  • Ensure the parts area is organized and tidy.
  • Maintain detailed records and reports regarding inventory levels, pricing, shortages, shipments, and usage of goods.
  • Distribute materials and supplies to customers or colleagues based on work orders and requisitions.
  • Place orders with various vendors through phone, email, or online platforms.
  • Receive and verify stock items, recording data manually or digitally.
  • Prepare items for storage or distribution, ensuring proper packing and unpacking.
  • Conduct inventory checks and resolve discrepancies as needed.
  • Organize items in a systematic and accessible manner within storage areas.
  • Perform various administrative tasks, including processing work orders and related documentation.
  • Foster positive relationships with coworkers, supervisors, and clients.
  • Adhere to safety protocols and regulatory requirements.
  • Complete additional tasks as assigned.
Qualifications
  • Experience with heavy machinery or construction equipment is advantageous.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
  • Willingness to work a standard 40-hour week with potential overtime.
  • Capacity to sit for extended periods.
  • Proficient in using office equipment, including phones and computers.
  • Able to lift items weighing up to 40 lbs.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite; experience with NexGen maintenance software is a plus.
  • Possession of a valid driver's license with a satisfactory driving record.
