Emergency Medical Transport Coordinator

The role of Paratransit Driver at DocGo requires a highly skilled and dedicated individual who can provide top-tier medical transport services to patients in need. As an Emergency Medical Transport Coordinator, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient transportation of patients to medical facilities and hospitals.
With a valid driver's license and a clean driving record, you will be expected to remain up-to-date with current standards of care, including equipment functions and uses, and all certifications, licenses, and registrations. You must also be able to recognize and treat any medical condition with appropriate techniques, equipment, and knowledge of all protocols.
As a key member of the team, you will collaborate with fellow EMTs, medical drivers, and management to ensure the highest level of patient care. You will also be required to remain flexible as emergency services operate on a 24-hour clock, and your work shift schedule may vary due to the nature of the business.
In addition to your medical expertise, you will also be expected to have strong communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively communicate with patients, families, and healthcare professionals. You must be able to lift, carry, push, and pull more than 125 pounds, and have a high school diploma or GED minimum.
