About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and customer-focused Account Specialist to join our dynamic Commercial Sales team at SAGE Publishing. As an Account Specialist, you will play a critical role in supporting the sales process, ensuring the profitable growth of our Commercial Sales department.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the special sales team and customers during the sales process, ensuring timely and accurate delivery of special sales products.
  • Compile data accurately, helping to sell and support special sales products across assigned sales territories and revenue streams.
  • Implement project plans, deliver excellent customer service, and support customers, colleagues, and stakeholders.
  • Monitor and track special sales projects from pre-production to completion, ensuring timely and accurate delivery using systems like MS Planner, SAGE Track, and SMART.
  • Responsible for achieving planned target revenue for assigned territory through active and reactive selling of special sales products.
Requirements
  • Experience of supporting a sales team/organization and/or experience of working with production of editorial content (within a publishing setting desirable).
  • Able to demonstrate problem-solving and conflict resolution skills.
  • Customer-focused with a collaborative approach.
  • Able to work independently and in a fast-changing environment.
  • Experience of project planning/coordination.
  • Strong written, oral, and presentation skills.
  • Demonstrates good organization and prioritization skills.
  • Ability to work within tight time pressures and consistently meet deadlines.
  • Working knowledge of content production systems, Office 365, and Microsoft applications such as Excel, Planner, etc.
