Business Development Manager

Rea & Associates is a leading accounting firm seeking a Business Development Manager to join our team. As a key member of our Information Services team, you will be responsible for leading and managing a team of Business Development and Customer Success Representatives to drive revenue growth and achieve sales targets.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and execute sales strategies to drive revenue growth and expand our customer base.
- Lead and manage a team of Business Development and Customer Success Representatives to ensure successful prospecting, development, and closing of new sales opportunities.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with internal referral resources across Rea & Associates service areas and industries.
- Conduct research and identify potential customers, track, document, and follow through on all leads.
- Nurture leads and prospects until they become contracted customers.
- Manage pipeline and ensure integrity of data through accurate and timely entry of data into Company systems.
- Collaborate with the security and service delivery teams to own and lead Request for Proposal (RFP) and Request for Information (RFI) responses, as well as presentations before new potential customers.
- Meet or exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales quotas.
- Bachelor's Degree
- Minimum of 5 years of successful sales experience within the information technology industry
- Exceptional ability to motivate and influence key contacts and decision makers
- Proven ability to listen, extrapolate information, and leverage resources to effectively provide solutions to customers
- Ability to effectively learn technical products, services, and solutions and readily apply new knowledge
- Ability to manage a sales pipeline and effectively forecast both short-term and long-term sales
- Ability to maintain and expand existing account relationships
- Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to operate in a fast-moving, team-oriented, collaborative environment with tight deadlines
- Proficiency in using MS Office Suite and Windows-based computer applications
- Previous proven expertise in managed services, cyber security services, cloud, and software and/or hardware solution sales
- Ability to interface with end users – customer service
- Problem-solving skills – ability to perform root cause analysis and determine appropriate course of action
