Job Overview

Aardvark Studios is seeking a highly skilled Fleet Manager to oversee the acquisition, utilization, maintenance, and disposal of our custom vehicle fleet. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in fleet management, with experience working with a variety of vehicle types and a proven track record of managing DOT regulations and compliance.

The Fleet Manager will be responsible for leading a team that manages the fleet, including troubleshooting mechanical issues, collaborating with sales and program management teams, and developing and maintaining vendor and service provider relationships. The successful candidate will have excellent interpersonal skills, be able to work in a fast-paced environment, and be able to manage multiple priorities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead a team that manages the acquisition, utilization, maintenance, and disposal of fleet vehicles and related assets
  • Troubleshoot mechanical issues remotely and source service providers to ensure minimal downtime for deployed vehicles
  • Collaborate with sales and program management teams to identify the most appropriate vehicles to meet client/program needs
  • Operate and oversee the use of fleet management software
  • Maintain relationships with DOT consultants and vendors

Requirements:

  • 3+ years of experience working on a fleet, with a strong background in fleet management
  • Experience with a variety of vehicle types, including standard and custom vehicles
  • Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of DOT regulations and compliance
  • Proficiency with fleet management software and other office administration applications
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
