The Senior Small Business SBA Business Development Officer is responsible for partnering with Small Business Bankers to provide the most appropriate lending solutions to prospects and clients, including SBA options. - Formal credit/lending training/strong credit skills with a focus on SBA lending
- Proven business acumen by working with SBA products and Small Businesses
- Familiarity with sales force automation, smart technology, Microsoft Office
- Communicates effectively, both orally and in writing
- Demonstrated sales ability; influences with impact; ability to develop new client relationships and new business
- Manages risk
- 2 years of experience as a SBA Business Development Officer
- Current book of business with a minimum of $10MM in new annual 7A loans only
The salary range for this position is $100K to $125K in annual base salary. The salary is based on years of experience and annual previous production totals. There is also commission and a discretionary annual bank bonus based on the bank's profitability for that fiscal year.
This position also allows you to do conventional lending. The compensation for conventional loans is split 50/50 with the bank and the fees they charge for a conventional loan.
